Ever wanted to actually belt out FUS RO DAH and watch as a gaggle of bandits flew half-way across the map? Well now you can! Before the end of the month The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be getting a free update for the Xbox 360 that allows integration for Microsoft Kinect’s speech recognition technology. Not only will you be able to actually vocalize those dragon shouts but you’ll also be able to issue voice commands to your followers, navigate the menu system, and equip weapons/armor/spells on the fly just to name a few. After the break you can find a video covering all the kinds of things the Kinect will be able to do with Skyrim…
I’ll admit it. While at the end of the day I definitely prefer having Skyrim on the PC I am tempted to at least try the game with Kinect on the Xbox 360. I’m sure I’m not the only person out there that really wants to yell out those dragon shouts and watch the madness ensue.
